phi phi island - post tsunami - thailand
December 26, 2004, Phi Phi Island Thailand was struck by a 30 foot high tsunami. The huge wave cut a swath of destruction though the heart of this paradise island. We returned to Phi Phi one year later to witness first hand the post-tsunami recovery efforts and to investigate the condition of these once thriving reefs that we had enjoyed so much before.
