Though present most the year, during the full moon whale sharks congregate in vast numbers in the waters of Donsol, Philippins. It is estimated that as many as 1,000 sharks may be present in these waters during this event. No other place on earth plays host to such a mass gathering of these gentle giants, We were fortunate enough to bear witness to this extraordinary event.
